added fan to amp it went into protect mode y ?

Take it to some one who knows how to wire up shit. You added three fans. What kinda fans, sound like you got house fans up in there. Are you useing Computer fans. Those are fine. Listen NOOB, the way you add cooling fans, or computer fans, is by adding a relay. That way you have a way to turn them on and not put too much strain on the head unit power supply. Then you just run the positive to each fan and ground the fan to the closest point. This should have absolutely no affect on your amps dude. I have two fans cooling off my 3 amps using this relay system. and I have NEVER put my amps into protect mode. I live in fucking Phx. AZ Gawd Dam hot up in here. I dont even have to play my shit for it to over heat up in this bitch. I have to run my ac and cool them down before I can play them.

OP doesnt deserve that amp. hey OP send me that amp and i'll send you my 13 year old btp's. on second thought nevermind those amps have been great to me and i would never shit on them by giving them to you. you can still turn over the rd amp to me though and i will show you how to make it slap.

its a 12v battery for jetskis it cost 80 dollars you noobs

you guys are ****ing idiots too you said it looks like a have house fans they are all scorpion fans and i told you its werid it will run 2 but as soon as you touch a 3rd positive wire to a remote on either of my amps the rd cuts out so what i have done it wired all 3 directly to power to a toggle switch by my stearring wheel

also i didnt run out of ring terminals i was just testing it to make sure everything was in order everything is secure now

I'm guessing you were overloading the remote. Using power and toggles should fix the problem, if that indeed is the issue.

markak134, there's probably a reason why more than 10 people are all saying that your wiring/install job is terrible, because it IS terrible. Throw away what you think you know about car audio and LISTEN... That amp shouldn't need any fan cooling, the power wires should at least be 2 gauge or 0 gauge, get rid of that tiny battery and fans and start over.

Power wire from front battery to amp with at least an 150a fuse by the battery, the same-thickness ground wire should be as short as possible and have a solid connection to the vehicle chassis ground. All connections must be clean and tight and sand off a 2" x 2" paint area where the ground connects to the car body. Use self-tapping metal screws. Your amp shouldn't be touching any metal that's connected to chassis ground. The remote wire from your headunit should only be used to turn the amp on and off, nothing else. Don't tap power from the amp's terminals to power anything else.

I'm typing this for the sake of that amp, now if you want to play out your stupidity then go ahead and add more stuff that you think it's going to help. Don't come back to us when the amp breaks and your car burns down.

all my stuff is wired the same as everyone else you guys just think its bad cause its not organized

the amp is raised on pieces of wood because i have a crosfan blowing underneath it and the 2 normal fans on top they do work

and any amp is going to over heat running at .67 ohms
