alright i have another question now. if i buy a new battery. can i put the one thats under the hood now in the trunk? would that be a good idea?

That would be the same as putting your new one in the trunk. Is the battery you have now new or something? Seems to me you are awfully worried about keeping it. New battery up front, and see how that does first. Then worry about the rear battery. Don't get ahead of yourself.

mk, well its not a new battery, its just its a perfectly good battery (not built for runnin systems tho) and i'm pretty poor right now. and gas is goin out the roof. and imma be goin to college in the fall, im just kinda on a conservation project right now thats all
