Very nice dude! Wish I could afford something that nice. Have to go the older route for better insurance/buying price.its an 06 with a 4.6
I totally agree! Thanks for chiming in!V-8's can be rather thrifty for gas consumption while delivering the power when you need it. The worst thing is to have no power and bad MPG. Some V-6's are just plain overworked and they **** the gas like nobody's business, especially in heavier vehicles like pickups, vans and SUV's. Some of those underpowered vehicles will weigh more than my 1991 Cadillac Brougham and that just kills the fuel economy.
If we had the right V-8's with hybrid tech, we could easily see 30 MPG on the highway for largish heavy vehicles is my guess plus the city MPG's would be decent, perhaps around 20? Small engines don't always equal a small gas bill.
Seriously considering an LS1 now. Always like those generation gm's but thought they were worse than that on gas.My buddy has a 2001 camaro with the LS1 and he gets around 28mpg on the highway, and the car hauls ***.
I had a 2006 mustang with the 4.6 and could get 24 or 25 on the hwy if I absolutely babied it. But it was a slow turd.
Same here. Pretty happy about it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gifYou're lucky. My 6 cyl gets about 12 MPG.
