Well, im thinking about taking the plunge into an active frontstage. It would be a two way and my whole system would consist of:

sub: claw basket mag

sub amp: orion 1200d

Tweet: either a vifa t25t or a dls ur1

mid-aa 6.5 poly

comp amp: orion 8004

active crossover would be an alpine unit.

Head unit: pioneer premier deh-p680mp

let me know what you guys think about this. Itll be my first time even buying components, and now that ive done some reading and such, this seems to be a very good setup.

Going active definetly takes some work, but once you get it set-up how you like, it's great. Sounds like some good equipment, let us know what crossover you purchase.

myself and req know which crossover i am planning on purchasing. its on ebay right now, ill let ya know if i get it or not. we have talked about it, and he said that it would would out nicely for me.
