ACT test

I went to the "prep" classes hung over, got nothing out of them, didn't study and got a 26. Like posted above, some **** is really easy, some isn't.

If i remember, they base your score on how many you COMPLETE. So if you're running out of time and didn't finish i think its better to leave the incomplete problems blank. They won't be counted against you.

i got a 26 also and did nothing 4 it. its also dependent on the people who you take it with. in my room i had a bunch of football players. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i took that ***** lasy year and made a 27 and thats without even passing geometry or english 3 like they already said its not that hard u just are timed and that ***** and now u do get points off for not completing a section so there goes that idea

i took a practice act last year when i was in 10th and made a 25 on it...didnt study or prepare or any **** like that...hopin to get a 30 or so this year but i doubt it cuz i think i'm dumber this year..blahhhhhh

yeah I have taken it too. I did not study or any of that crap got teh 23. And I am a slow reader ao I was just guessing on about the last 10-15 on every section. FILL IN EVERYTHING. And if you take the the practice tests and study with computer programs I hear that it can boost your score by 4 points easilly. I do not knwo though i only took it once and know I am in college so i don't know if it is wort studying or not.

I got a 26 and a 27 the two times I took the ACT. My friends who literally fell asleep duing the math section got 22 and 23 so it isn't the most difficult test. One of my former friends got a 32 on it with hardly any studying just because she was good at taking tests (although failed out of college because of her drinking and partying habits).

Its not really something you study for. It is an assesment of you overall academic knowledge. If you have paid attention and made grades, you will do fine. If you have slacked off in school, then you might get lucky //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

30 for me btw

my best test-taking method is to not worry about the test. just make sure you pay attention in class and do the work required of you outside of class (e.g. homework) w/o cramming the night before and you should be straight. also make sure you eat breakfast. on tests like the ACT or whatever, there are things you can study, but you may have already figured out that I don't advocate studying. I do, however, advocate "freshening up"; guess it depends on how you look at it. I've always done well on aptitude tests...achievement tests, though, I hate. 29; like it matters in the real world though. maybe a little for what college you're trying to get in if it has requirements, but to me, I hate "summarizing" a person's knowledge with a score. knowledge has no quantitative value in my eyes.
