ACT test this weekend, any tips?

Do NOT get overwhelmed by the Scientific Reasoning portion. People get freaked out becuase they use large words, talk about nuclear physics and other crazy shit...

ALL IT REALLY IS... is reading graphs/tables... basically interpreting scientific results...

So don't get flustered, read the results... and answer the questions. Piece of cake.

BTW... I got a 34 my first time. So, it works...

smart bastard.

If you took the SAT first, be prepared to be more rushed on the ACT, they give you less time per test, and i thought it was harder...although i had a bad day period...but my SAT score made up for it lol

what does the ACT test do for you?
It inaccurately predicts college performance....I think I got like 21 on mine but then graduated with distinction with a 3.7 gpa in college.

My advice...don't stress out about it, get a good nights rest the night before and don't spend too much time on any one of the questions. It's been so long but I though I only answered like 75% of the questions [which explains my steallar score] because I took too **** long trying to figure each one out.

Good luck men! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Yeah, the act test is definitely a lot more rushed. Be prepared to read a bunch of passages and then answer questions on them. something like reading the passage and answering 30-40 questions in 40 minutes. I wouldn't spend too much time on questions you don't know, write the question down and go back to it when you finish.

answer all of them even if you have to guess because you dont get minus points for wrong answers like the sat. also definently go online and take the practice test it will really prepair you.
