Accpetable Packaging?

Hey, I was just wondering if this would be acceptable packaging to you? The person I am shipping to said that a regular box and newspaper would work for him, but I'm a little over precautious since my last transaction didn't go so well. I usually package things pretty well if you ask me, but you'd have to ask the others I have dealt with to get real answers. Anyway, acceptable or no?

This all started with a 15" RE Audio SR

And, a USPS Priority box.

I cut the box down the edges so the magnet could fit without the basket getting caught.

IT FITS!

Shoved Newspaper in the cracks so the magnet wouldn't slide around in the box.

Newspaper over the top so the surround or cone would have less of a chance getting scratched or damaged

USPS Priority box for so there would be a little more protection for the woofer

Newspaper and box taped together.

Set up in shipping box.

Testing boxes to see if woofer wouldn't slide around in shipping box.

Better view.

I added some foam swimming rings for extra 'support' so the woofer wouldn't slide around.

I have shook it and there's absolutely no movement inside the box. I rather have UPS do that, and I get monies from it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif I'll be making sure that the people at the UPS store know how it's packed, so I don't get screwed if it breaks. Luckily, I'm wanting him to test the sub first before he decides whether or not he wants it, so I'm shipping first.

Packing looks good, just make sure there is a good amount of cushion under the motor but, everything else looks good..

I hope you know this person very well, to be doing something like that..

Oh and make sure you tape the box like go around it a few times on all sides but don't cut strips of tape , do it in whole pieces..

I don't personally know the person, nor do I think I will ship until we talk a little bit before hand. I do know that they have quite a few references and is seemingly trustworthy. I will be making sure to get Adult signature confirmation and will keep all our conversations about the transaction.
