Sub is having a real gainy, distorted, hollow sound.. WTFFFFFFF

Moved my sub from one car to my new one, 14' Fusion.

Using a shtty Pac Loc until Friday or Monday when my LC2i comes in until I can get an MS8.

Point is I didn't touch any settings, everything sounded great in my 200. Moved it to this car and it's like it crapped out?

I've checked many times making sure the positive and negative wires were correct on the LOC. I've even moved the pos to neg and neg to positive on the LOC incase something was backwards, changed the left side to right on the loc and vice versa. Literally I think I've tried everything.. Wires aren't crossed or touching..

I've properly set the gains. The Base boost is turned off, phase allign is at 0, i've messed with the Subsonic (have it set around 25-30) low pass goes form 35-250, have it around 100-120ish. Gain is half way up, set with DMM. Giving the sub around 1000-11000 watts.

Using PPI 1800.1 and FI BL 12.

Could it possibly just be the LOC or something? Will the Lc2i fix it or is something just completely fked up? If it' sthe sub im going to probably go jump off a bridge, lol.

Try connecting an aux to RCA cord to your amp and play something on your ipod/phone. If it sounds fine, it's your LOC/Headunit.

Should be here Friday or Monday. It's off for right now yes.

Spliced into the B pillar on the left and right side. And What's OCC Mode?

If you are tapping in the rear I'm guessing ALL.

My LC2i Just came in today. Ill probably hook it up this weekend and see what we've got going on.. I guess if that doesn't work then I don't know.. I'll give my amp and sub to a friend and see if it's still doing the same thing in his car, hes got an after market radio so the rca's from the HU to amp rather than an LOC.

Definitely post those pics so I have some what of a reference to go off of when I get around to door speakers. I'm just getting soo pissed of at this right now. I really hope the sub didn't get damaged in my wreck. It shouldn't have.. the surround and everything looks fine, nothing hit it.. So that definitely shouldn't be it. Just some sort of wiring/loc issue I hop[e

Rca bad maybe you said you had a wreck maybe the hu shorted them out or Jared the wire loose on inside of rca cords
