About to Gamble..........

Im about to pick up 2 apsm-1500s and them each to .5 ohm(1 ohm strapped). 2 of them only cost $230 shipped new w/warranty i figured why not. ive seen alot of mixed results with others trying these at .5ohm. tho alot of neg reviews are from people who never tried or used them.

im not extremely hard on my system i dont go no more then 1/2 power daily. the only time i go full is if im compete. im thinking i would probly just strap them at .5 ohm during comps and strap them wired higher for daily but idk. i have a 220a HO alt, 3 batts total(about to get better ones).

how do you guys(who have actually used these) think they will hold up.

mine was a hit. 1226@2 ohms 13v 523@4.713v unclipped. best 100$ test aamp ive had tbh.

did you test .25? im thinking about pulling the trig strapping them at .5 for comps and strap them wired up for daily

70 amp alt lol. voltage didnt drop bad though. car off was like 12.1 full tilt and 13.3 car on

**** not bad voltage for such a small alt. i have a 220a HO alt. with 3 batts total. mine stays about 13.5v fulltilt. needless to say may batts are terrible lmao.....
