I don't have an amp just yet, i was going to buy one based on how much RMS i needed. i've had fairly similar experiences with good amps and with crappy amps so im not as worried about that.What amp do you have now? Consider a 10 or 12 w3v3 and hifonics amp with ported box or sealed for sq. I've got a RF p312d4 if your interested.
thanks for the feedback...the 150 isnt a hard fixed number. since i am going to build the box myself, i can't imagine it would cost more than $50 so that does leave a little more room on the driver and amp.Personally, I would place a cap of ~$150 on a driver. Since you have capped your amp price at the same, that leaves $200. So, $100 for a good quality box and $100 for install and cabling.
