? about the IA 20.1

i just have a 200 amp fuse by the battery for mine... why would you put a second fuse on the same wire?

from what i gather is he is running a second battery, so you should fuse the wire going to the second battery, at both ends, and then fuse from 2nd battery to amp

Missed that...

Then he would need three fuses, two on the battery to battery connection, and then one between battery and amp.

so i need 3 fuses now? well actually two since i have one under the hood and then i need a second one in line right before my second batter and then one right after my second batter going in to the amp?????

well i got two dual 4's so down do one ohm as far as competeing goes i dont really know there arent many comps in my area so it kinda sucks
running that thing at one ohm.... IMO... is a waste... I know you probably already have the subs.... but still at one ohm and not competing... I'd get something else...

Is that because it doesnt do serious power at one ohm, or because its capable of so much more at a lower load?

Were you happy with it on your mags at .5? (i think thats what I read you had them at)

It puts out a very good amount of power at 1 ohm, it just has some much more potential when wiring it down to .5 or lower.

well im not worried really guys so whatever the f*** ever showrides knows that i want it cause its a strong amp and its something that NOONE in my area even knows about so yeah im sure i'll be just fine with it an that way i can upgrade subs in the furture and not ahve to worry about the amp when i can handle every ohm load you can think of
