? about Kicker PKD1 kit distr blocks

This kit says it comes with 2 distribution blocks. Can somebody that has this kit tell me if these are fused? From the pictures I've seen it doesn't look like they are. Is that a problem?

Also, why do they have 2 distro blocks? I assume the 2nd one is to run your amps ground cables to then from there run 1 wire to a ground on your vehicle. Would it be alright to run a power cable from each amp to the same ground on the vehicle instead?

they aren't fused. it's not a huge deal if they aren't long runs of wire imho. and yes one for power and one for ground.
