i have started to setup a new SQ system.i have an Audison vrx6.420 amplifier full (3*prm3+sm24+pc36 molduls.)

i want to use this amp for helix rs6.3 speakers...

i have a pionner deh-p9400mp as head unit,stinger expert serie interconnects and speaker wires,optima red Battery,stinger HPM series 1F cap.

i want to learn the points that i have to be careful about this configuration? and i'll be glad to hear your suggestions and experiments about helix rs6.3

I reviewed the manual for this set.

It appears the supplied passive crossover is having the dome midrange play from 600hz and 5000hz(5khz)

That would be a good place to start. Have the midbass' HPF set to 63hz or 80 hz, then have the LPF on the midbass set to 500hz. HPF the midrange' amp channel at 600hz, and the LPF to 5kHz. Then HPF the tweets at around 5khz. Then give or take on each setting to see what sounds best. It might take alot of time to get everything to sound right.

You might need to use a combination of crossover settings between your headunit and amps.

Have you tried the set with the passive crossovers yet? It should sound pretty good using them and easier to set up then wiring active. If you had a 4 way crossover or headunit with a 4 way crossover such as the Clarion DRZ9255/ Pioneer P9 combo or Alpine PXAH701 + source unit it would be much easier to wire active and probably sound better than using amplifier crossovers.
