Sorry to all you guys' that have to pay out on YOUR kids for christ sakes. No matter how you look at it, it is your responsibility to take care of your kid no matter what the circumstances occur. It is also different situations depending on the other half, your ex wife/gf, whatever the case. For instance my wifes ex boyfriend, who they had two kids, is a complete waste of a human bieng. He comes around 4-5 times a year......on a good year and spends 1 day with them. He usually is jobless and did it for the sole reason of not having to pay child support. Then his at the time girlfriend, who he has another 2 kids with started to complain about not having any money and tired of working all the time. So he got a decent job, making decent money and finally started to pay child support. I believe we get 122 something every other week.....for two kids. Least that is what my wife says. So 245 sum bucks a month. Reason is I believe because he is now paying on his other two kids, being him and his girl broke up. We were getting more, but not now as he has to pay for 4 kids.....loney I know.
So it just depends how the situation is. If I ever got divorced, I will always take care of mine, I don't care how much my lifestyle changes. She will be first and foremost.

Also we only use the child support money for the girls school supplies and what not. We don't see a dime of it.

I can understand you being pissed if the mother was using it to her benefit. That is when you fight for custody of your daughter, feeling that she is an unfit mother and take the ish to court. So stop your complaining and do something about it, period!

Despite all the shit we can give one another sometimes, there are times where I would like to give you a big kiss. This is one of those times.

dude you make a good point . i am responsible cause it is our/my fukup. Listen, you pay so there is no beef. I don't understand how you could feel wronged by it, but you are paying so kudos. I wasn't directing anything at those that pay. My initial posts were to those getting checks confiscated for failure to pay. How you guys who supposedly pay come in and defend them is beyond me.

good example:

my older bro was paying out $550 for one kid.....his sons mom didn't work, bought drugs and went out on that money...i think all child support should go into an acct. for the child to use for college. IF i ever get seperated from my girlfriend, the second she pushes child support i'm opening an acct. for my son....it will be his college money. no way am i forking over money for her to use on w/e she wants....if she odn't like it, he can live with me.

This is just idiotic. The majority of money it costs to raise a child is before college. Unless you're going to be another deadbeat dad, you will be required to "fork over money for her to use on w/e she wants" if the child lives with her. Be a man and take care of your kid/kids.

i fought it till the end, i went thru 20k in legal fees, a night in jail, and many nights crying about it... dislike what i wrote if you want, i did my best, and what else can I say...

this is one thing i am passionate about; i will stick up for men who try at least to handle their's...

btw thanks guys for at least knowing some of us do our best, my daughter is well taken care of, and how the money is being used i have no idea, especially if that family is stealing thousands upon thousands of dollars from churches etc etc...
