This is how i see "unwanted" pregnancies. If you decide on abortion or adoption or even keeping the kid, I dont really care because it's not my decision. The same should be said about me if i were to knock a girl up. Its my decision wether i feel like the baby could be taken care of or not and leave the decision up to whoever it may be. Ultimately it should be her decision. Personally if i were to knock a girl up I would have to give the baby up for adoption unless i felt financially and emotionally stable enough in my life to have a child. Im not a big fan of abortion though, but like i said, what someone does is their own d**n business not mine.
For instance, my good friend just had his baby born less than a month ago. Him and his GF are way too immature IMHO to have a kid, but they decided to keep it anyways and not have an abortion (which i respect), or give it up for adoption which i think they are retarded for. She is 19 and lives with her parents, graduated high school last year pregnant, and he graduated last year too a second year senior, at 20 years old (i think he's retarded personally)... but anyways, they said "we're gonna keep the kid because we know we can take care of it" and to show their parents they ARE mature enough to have a kid. WRONG WAY TO DO THAT! So the kid pops out and it has Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), which is an inherited disorder
( Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a group of inherited bullous disorders characterized by blister formation in response to mechanical trauma. Historically, EB subtypes have been classified according to skin morphology )
So anyways, they still both live with their parents and they have a messed up kid that they have no earthly way of paying to keep healthy, yet they refuse to give it up for adoption FOR THE BETTER OF THE CHILD. See this is what it all comes down to. Your decision shouldnt be based on what you want, it should be what is best for the child.
BTW his baby is in the hospital at the moment with a systemic infection related to EB. go figure.
