I heard the AP 3000 is hard to keep powered @ 1 ohm. I guess you need a verrrry good electrical to back it up.

ok so one thing keeping me on the fence, will the vfl put out a min of 1500 at 2 ohms that is about were i will be using 3 dd1008a. for that setup will the vfl be better or the ap?

the new audio pipe 3500 is much more stable at lower imp than the 3000. it cost alittle more but from what i here it is worth the ext. $$.

the ap 30001 will run @ 1ohm and lower for burps if ur rise isnt too low...

ap isn't stable @ 1 ohms. @ 1 ohms is 1500. and @ 2 ohms you'll actually get the 3000 rms you want.

the ap is 2 ap1500s strapped.

what impedance are you starting at? impedance will vary with frequency and tuning, amongst other things.
