spend a little more and get the vfl150.1. the web site shows very little dif. in power but look at the dif. in the build of the 2 amps. the 150.1 is much beafier. we just installed a 150.1. the amp is very strong.
i've heard of alot of iffy things with am bass vfl amps, plus i bet the 3000d is stronger than 120.1 if you are going to run it at 1 ohm or above... those vfl's love .5, .35, etc
the 150.1 is stronger than the ap3000. the 150.1 will run at .5 and the ap3000 will not. now there is a big dif. in price between the ab and the ap3000.
yea but i will be running close to 2 ohms after impedence rise so right now i am thinking the ap is the way to go. still not sure but leaning that way for now
I have sold both AP and AB amps for 5 years, The AP will do more power but it should it's rated as a 3000rms amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif where the 120.1 is a 2600rms amp. The AB will also run .5 ohm where the AP will die at .5! If you did a 150.1 vs the AP 3000 then hands down go with the AB 150.1!!!
if i could afford the 150.1 i would but the ap more in my price range. and since i hear nothing but good things about tha ap it is reasuring me that i wil get what i need.
