Well thinkin of selling bones my vr4000d. I'm lookin for somethin similar in power, but easier to tune for daily. Anyone that knows these amps knows you gotta be carefull with the vr4000's gain as they like to get clip happy.

So to swap it out I'm thinkin of pickin up a 400.1 and run it .5 daily. How effecient are these amps? how much power will I exspect? Help me decide.....do you think I would be happier...compare em for me

I got 3700 outta my 500.1 @ .25, but 11 volts.

They make some good power, I'd have at least 2 decent batts in the back to run it at .5 daily. But it'll play that all day long no prob

But crossfire does make some strong amps.

only 3700....****, but was 11 volts

well I got 2 deka g31's in the back, g34 up front, 250 ho alt, and 2 complete runs of kicker 1/0

I think I should be set, what do you think? How much power should I see at .5? At full tilt with my crossfire, I never dropped lower than 13v:D

Well my 500.1 was rated at 4700@1ohm at 14.4v

And it did 3700@1.2ohm(after rise) at 11v

So they should easily do rated power and a good bit more at the right voltage
