a3000db, Green Light, No Power...?

ugh, if its dead why is it still powering up? Could a fuse really do that?
What are u not gettin . A fuse is made to protect the amp from and power complications. So I am sure ya'll hooked something up wrong...not really sure what to pop a 250a fuse with that amp...but yea it mostly is fried.

A fuse can't destroy an amp, see the amp would have to draw a lot of power to pop a 250 amp fuse. The problem is that the amp you have usually does not draw that much power, so basically your amp messed up and started drawing way to much power which in turn popped the fuse. Your amp is most likely broken, it may still power on but it probably won't work unless someone fixes it.

Alright thanks

is the amp fused in the back?

im guessing not since you blew a 250a up front, the A3000 dosent have internal fusing so you have to use an external fuse right before you get to the amp to fuse it, the 250a or 300a you have up front is for fusing the wire not the amp

guess he learned the hard way

by replacing that 250 amp fuse with the 300 i bet it allowed just a little more current in and the amp fried. or there is a short somewhere.
