i wouldn't suggest running them at 1 ohm strapped. @ 2 ohms strapped i would expect about 3600 from the a3000's

it could use the same board & everything..

but different companies will use different quality components..

which will yield different results in power & everything.

1 ohm each amp yes, but not 0.5 ohm per amp.

There not junk at all for the price. I had the 2400DB for awhile and it performed better than I expected.

That amp has 4x30 amp fuses. Same as the nine.1, and other similar amps. Theres no way its going to putout an honest 1800 @ 1 ohm. Unless its super efficient, which i also doubt as well. I would expect at most 1200 @ 1 ohm not counting voltage and rise. I think there are better options for the money.

they are fairly efficent. i had an a3000db @ 14v that i couldnt tell an audible differance between it and a kx 2500.1 off 12v in a direct swap out. thought this isnt a profound finding, it just shows that these amps are great as far as performance vs. costs. as far as a "clean signal", as long as you dont clip your amp, i couldnt tell an SQ differance between the kicker and the PA. of all those amps listed i'd stick with the PA. they do very close to if not right on thier rms rating, and they dont heat up haniously doing thier rms like other brands do.

it's fair to say the nine.1 is a better "build quality" which to an extent is true.......but the PA's are built well enough to where if the price is the same and you get more power from the PA, the PA is worth it. this particular series of amps from PA whomps all other lines of amps from the same manufacture. same goes with lanzar vibe and optidrive series amps. great amps for the money, the company just makes crap for pretty much all other lines of amps and audio equipment.

thats just my 2cents.
