A Urine Test

to answer your questions:

*Nope didn't grow up with a sliver spoon in my mouth,

*yea I have had hit some hard times in my life

**And it is for these two reasons that I have LESS OF A REGARD for those who firmly attach them-selves to the tit of the "guaranteed monthly check".

I have been able to make something of myself, I have no problem saying that I live a life and have all the "stuff" that my parents never had, so I will not listen to people who say that they cant even make ends meet...

Congrats in being able to overcome whatever it is you overcame. Confidence is hard to find in people these days. You however need to tone it down a bit, there is a fine line between being arrogant and being confident in yourself.

There are people who really cant make ends meet and some genuinely did fall into hard times, others just dont understand how to set their finances right and live within their means. Yes thats their choice, but you cant control what choices others make.

Instead of rubbing whatever it is you've accomplished in someones face, you can try to offer advice without bringing the person you're speaking to down.

Its easy to forget where you come from and start to look down on others. Even I catch myself doing it but I try not to.

Although I do not agree with people who stay on welfare on purpose because they are lazy and would rather not work.

When my first child was born I was on the state medical program. Yes other tax payers paid for the birth of my child. I also was on the W.I.C program that gave us free milk for my wife and formula for my child along with cereal juice and other things. Me and my wife both worked but couldnt make end meet. When formula is about $30 for 3 days worth things just didnt add up.

It upsets me to no end to think that there are people out there who looked at me as a second class citizen when I would use my W.I.C vouchers at the grocery store.

...as far as the birth of your child is concerned, I am a firm believer in socialized medicine, heck we are the only "1st" world country w/o it!

*also I didn't over come anything crazy, my parents went destitute or anything, but they were not Rockefellers ether! I just moved on up I guess,

I don't look down at people, but in my own case I have tried to PERSONALLY help a few friends of mine into jobs that had a high $$ potential, BUT they didn't even pursue it, (and I had them as a foot in type of thing), I was calling them like I needed them to help me help them! It is that type of personality that is like nails on a chalk board for me

I have no problem with people who honestly need help. I have worked for minimum wage at a gas station (not even out of high school yet though) all summer full time, and I dont have enough money to do what I want(bad spending habits ftw) I dont even have to pay bills or anything, so I can only imagine people who may not be able to get any better of a job, have kids to take care of, and work their *** off all day only to NOT have enough. But for the lazy f*cks who dont even try and use the welfare for drugs....i hope they OD and die real soon.
