it seems like a good idea but I think the argument will be that these tests cost too much fo the state. Maybe random tests, like call up and say sometime tomorrow come in for a test. I hate that these people live off of the system, but sometimes people do need help. But what happens if they fail? Most junkies dont care so you spend more on these kids being in orphanages and foster homes. I dont do any drugs except drink, I think drug tests should be outlawed, what you do when not at work is your own business, but if you cause and acciden or hurt someone or yourself you be prosecuted at the full extent of the law.

Lol I can see it now, the nurse that takes the sample will charge us (the tax payers) 100 bucks...then the lab tech that checks it will charge 250, then the cup and supplies will be 90 bucks, after all is said and done when you add up the expense to test all these deadbeats and factor in testing the ones that arnt on drugs, just lazy; it would probably cost the taxpayer more...

also are you saying that if you use the welfare money to buy drugs you are worse then the lazy sob who uses it to buy pop and donughts for 5 years!

to me they are all the same, I think we should just have a cut-off after X amount of time...better yet...oh I like this one.... we will send all the chronic bums, the child molesters, rapests and whatnot over to the countries we dont like (worked for the english back in the day), so when we invade the next saudi country instead of dropping bombs we drop bums... lets see how they do with the dregs of the US lol now that a REAL WMD

Wrong.

The time limits are FEDERAL and apply to all states. States have the right to grant exceptions on a case by case basis, under extenuating circumstances, but the time limits are a federal thing that apply to all 50 states.

BTW, you can thank Bill Clinton for signing that into law.

why do you have a problem with someone living off of child support? Child support is not funded with tax money. It is paid for by the idiot father who wasnt bright enough to wear a fukkin rubber; he gets what he deserves.

doesnt always happen like that, I was with my babys mother for 3 years and she decided to suprise me with not taking birth control. She doesnt live off of the child support, it helps her and she is a good mother who works full time. I am glad I had my daughter, changed my life for the best, but some moms live off of it. I mean why work when you can get a few hundred a week or more from child support then basically free rent, thats their mentality. Yes it is both partys faults.

no, but some females see it as a meal ticket, and us males fall for it alot. No way I would bang some hoe I just met at the club or bar without a rubber, but you and I both know there are alot who do.

Sorry, I didn’t know that AS I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WELFARE AS IM A LITTLE HIGHER ON THE EVOLUTIONARY CHAIN

The problem I have with all of the "meal tickets" (welfare, child support) is that it tends to always go to people who have no desire to better themselves, and I don’t want to contribute to there wellbeing

Do you know how easy it is to get a job that pays over 60k!!! not hard, heck you don’t need jack to get it, ever see a real-estate agent, go study some EASY materieal take a test and bada bing, real hard to sell a house lol! (and yes I know what I am talking about on THIS aspect as I have had my license for a while... to make money on the side)

Point being all the dumb azzes who have kids while they are still kids yet never have the sense of mind to better there OWN situation CANT BE HELPED, don’t enable em'

And secondly any man who would let a woman, who has no ambition or drive, raise there heir is as dumb & guilty as the other party.

Hand outs don’t work, be it from the gov't in the form of welfare or from a private party in the form of child support etc.

Maybe they could work something out..

Like when you go to mexico its mostly a green light and you pass on through scott free wether(sp?) you have drugs, guns whatever. And every once in a while a red light will flash, if you get the red light you get searched.

Same thing with welfare but drug tested not searched
