how hard generally is it to be completly familiar and comfortable with all the complex programs. i always think ok this time is the time and i constantly redownload bass box pro and winisd but i never understand how to use them completly and never can complete all the steps? am i missing something?

The programs aren't difficult to use really. What is challenging is knowing what you're doing WITHOUT the program. Once you know that, it's a cakewalk.

All CAD programs are is a " tool " that allows the enclosure builder to design the enclosure once the actual " design parameters " of that enclosure have been established with an enclosure design program - Winisd, BBP6, Termpro, LEAP or whatever.
