A quick tip about SketchUp that newcomers should know:

The program has nothing to do with box design, and should not be used as such. If you are going into the program, learning how to use it, and then drawing up pretty boxes, you aren't designing shit. You could do the same thing with a memo pad and a Bic if you wanted to. You need to know how to design a box mathematically before you use the CAD. SketchUp is merely the sprinkles on the icing of the cake, the icing being a program like bassbox. you get what you pay for...it has features for fine tunning
