Why are younger girls getting hotter?

Last night, my 16 year old brother had an athletic awards night at his high school. Wasn't really interested in returning to my old high school, but went anyways.

Get there and I swear every girl there was way ahead of the curve in terms of attractiveness. Of course, it's not just at the high school...it's everywhere I go. Case in point: any of the jailbait threads.

So the question is: is this an evolutional trait? Are we slowly evolving into a more "attractive" species (the girls in particular)? Or is this a psychological thing for us guys as we get older?

I tried looking for an answer on Google....mostly more jailbait pics....

I mean, seriously...

Girls did NOT look like that back when I was in middle school or early highschool. I always joke around and say it must be in the water.

I don't think it's because we're older and perceive it differently either, because if you look back at old pics of your friends from gradeschool... or in the yearbook... not nearly as many are as attractive as these ****s today...

Hmph...

I have wondered the exact same thing before. For example, I took a stroll in the mall on a Friday night a few weeks ago. I ended up thinking 'WTF?' the entire time. These girls who are not even old enough to drive are dressing a lot older looking than they should be.. At the two high school graduations I went to this year, i was amazed at the amount of fine ***. And one of these schools is known for being redneck as all get out, and full of skanky hoes. Well, that night, it was full of some beautiful bishes. High schoolers are just hotter these days.

It's called GM foods and hormones in the milk, beef and other foods.

Let's take bottled water and sodas for that matter too........did you know that there are two catalysts that are used to form polycarbonate plastics for the bottled containers used for sodas, purified water, gatorade, baby bottles, you name it: bisphenal A and polyethylene tetrateraloide . Now not all of these substances are used in all plastics, but a majority of them are. The FDA has even ruled that bisphenal A does indeed replicate estrogen homones and also may be a cause for obesity and "Moobs" in men.

Oh, and I don't give a fvck what the FDA says is safe. I trust NO CHEMICAL....

I think it has alot to do with the hormones that are added into our food. I'm not saying thatis the only thing, but that it may play a big role it it.

Today's society is alot different than it used to be, and girls are dressing more provocative at younger ages.

It may be that we as a race is evolving, what someone looks like is part of someone getting into a relationship and then reproducing. So maybe as a whole, the human race, specifically women, are better looking to insure the human race continues.

idk though, that's just my $.02

ya im 21 and look 18 so everynow and then I have to ask for their license just to double check age! But I love women and am very amazed at what Im seeing so far this year

I went to a movie theater 2 weeks ago that I normally dont go to... I was standing outside with a couple of my friends waiting for the movie to start. It was about 10:45 PM and all the kids were outside waiting to be picked up. These girls were actually pretty **** good looking. Definately wouldnt think they were waiting to be picked up for a ride at the movies. The guys they were with looked like babies. Rarely was there a guy taller than 5'9-5'10. They were about 5'4-5'5 for the most part. Just tiny littls dudes, they looked like what you would see walking through a middle school.

I felt bad thinking "man shes pretty hot", but then I decided, shes dressed like a skank, and has the body of a 20 year old. So wtf?

I say whatever, its all good. If you're attracted to girls who look wayyy too young and still look like little girls thats fawked up, but if the girl is say 16 and has the body of a 20 year old, why the hell should I feel bad for looking?

Why would someone eating these "things" be preferentially selected by Mother Nature as being better suited for survival and reproduction than someone who doesn't/hasn't?

If anything pro-estrogenic compounds are ruing that chance as female fertility is shit and hardly any dudes above 50 can get their dick up anymore.

Back to the OP's question. There's research done with babies that's shown that attractiveness (esp female) is selected for. They take toddlers and put them in front of a two monitors...one with a female face that's attractive according to societal norms and one that's not. The kids pick the more attractive face significantly more, IIRC. Don't quote me exactly, It's been awhile since Sociology 101.

But I know exactly what you're talking about. If TV had never been invented, the teenage ***** phenomenon would never have come about. Natural beauty will always be admired, but too many kids don't understand what it is be cause they have false ideas beaten into their head 24/7. I think Britney Spears sort of ushered in the ****iness, initially and then it has gotten worse ever-since. Hell when i was in HS, chicks wore baggy sweatshirts all the **** time! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

If you're like me, just stick with the "half your age +7" rule and you're usually golden. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Evolution.

Jake and I have had many discussions on this topic (not exactly this, but kind of).

I live in an area above Charlotte NC that has some very wealthy sections. For instance, I went through the Bojangles drive through and a Bentley GT was right behind me also going through the drive through. Anyway, in that area there are a lot of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. At any give time in that Harris Teeter grocery store there are more attractive women shopping there than there were "ok" or good-looking girls in my high school. Given, high school was a long time ago, but I think it's a good reference due to the amount of people involved.

Anyway, everywhere around that area the women are gorgeous. Your scale gets a little skewed if you hang around that area too long.

What has happened is that the fairly wealthy people all live in the same area of that town. They are also really good looking people. Good looking people breed good looking children.

But it goes much further than just that pathetic example that I just gave. As a society, and human race, time has been in our favor for finding a good looking mate. How has time done this? Well it's not exactly time alone, but it's time that has allowed the human species to populate more and more. Higher population means there are more people to mate with. With more people to choose from, holding off for a better looking companion gets easier. The result is as a species we have gotten better looking.

BUT - The younger girls are better looking than I ever remember (don't take the ********* mentality with that statement - I mean I'm remembering how the girls looked when I was that age).

Where's Jake at on this? He's the genius on this kind of crap. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
