I just picked up a pair of them.

http://www.mmatsproaudio.com/p3.html

coils are dual 4 on each sub. each sub is brand new still rapped up in plastic.

I am all over the place on what to feed them rms wize. a local shop here had just told me that he installed a pair in a customer car and they got stinky with 750w rms to them. and that he ended up setting the gain so each one was getting 500w - but mmats website says 750w rms is its rating

and the bottom of the subs them selves say 1000w handling.

is the 1Kw its peak ? why the heck would they even print that on the sub ?

I thought m mats was suposed to be good stuff ?

also

am up in the air a little bit about what size ported box theese would like to live in.

and what tuning hz should be ideal for them to be loud as heck off of music daily ?
