Murilo, the numbers on the amps, is that the RMS rating or the MAX rating.

Ill beleive it when a reliable source tests one. If it does put out rated power I cant see daily beating on such a small amp with such low fusing

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm still learning about efficiency. Isn't it like 10 amps per 100 watts or something like that?

i'd test them for him and as for trusting i met a few people from his neck of the woods when i was in boston doing a iasca show. they all say he is a great guy and i would trust their judgement.

These are MAXI fuses, they support 5x the normal current rate for current peaks with less than 5s.

During the normal play the power compression phenomenon + high crest factor f the music signal makes the average current flow be about 40-50% of the maximum, at the full power.

So if you burp longer than 5s the fuse is going to blow?

Depends, depending on the woofers used the Re of the coils would rise and the fuse wouldn´t blow.

This is not a normal use for the amp, but you can replace the fuse by another with higher rating to do 5 seconds or more burps.
