Hell my aunt retired from Delphi a few years ago and she was making like 35 bucks an hour and doing really well for herself.
Well that lasted 1 year and she couldn't afford to stay retired. She makes more money than me retired per month and year, lol! And I make over 30k a year.
She ended up having to get a part time job at a local mom and pops gas-station as a cashier making 6.50 an hour to make ends meet.
She has some big expenses in her house as it is not paid off yet and her car, which is a gas guzzeling hog, but right there shows me I will never be able to retire! I don't have the job she did, nor will I probably ever, so I will be working till the day I die as well along with my dad, as he is in the same boat and he manages a Midas Muffler and has his own landscaping company and plows in the winter.
Mom is also retired from Delphi and she is in the mist of getting a part time job as well to help pay some bills off.
