A long time ago, pretty funny but wierd

Ok in my first setup, I had 2 10 mtx 5500s, witha planet audio 600 watt amp, with stock HU. Now I had that little rca adapter, and ran speaker wires from the doors to it. But when I turn off my truck, I would power the remote wire to keep the amp on, and when I beat on the truck booming comes from the woofers, I didnt know what tha hell it was, then one day I touched my back 4" door stock speaker and a boom came from the subs, so I played with the speaker like a drum hahaha. It was pretty fun, nothing I really cared about, But has anyone had this problem? What would cause this problem?
