A good Buy?

a guy that is semi-local, about 1.5 hour drive away, is selling sum stuff. his shop used to sell JL but no longer. Hes got an 8w7 in an HO box for $200, he used it for demos in his car. he had a package but i wasnt intrested it also included a JL 250 amp, and 4 ga. wiring kit, for $350.

i was planning in the future to build a system with a 10" and put it into a horn or tline box that could handle a 1000 rms, but can i pass up on this?

Unless it just happens to be exactly what you're looking for I wouldn't bother.

Yeah like boobyd said. Get what you want. The price is good, but if you want a 10 get a 10 and put it in a horn or t-line box if that's what you want.
