look at the install - the subs are basically sealed off off from the car cept the box.. car prolly vibrates like crazy tho

He said it is ported into the cabin. I am guessing the grill cloth on the top of the beauty panel is to let airflow into the cabin as well as opposed to being a port. :shrugs:
At least I would hope so....

Either way though, the subs are pretty much sealed off from the cabin. That small little vent isn't gonna do squat.

Stereo. For the love of christ, it is spelled stereo. You see it countless times anywhere on this site. No hate, but fix that.

Given that SHO's age and how nice it looked, I imagine a lot of body work and time went into it. That in itself, with the end result looking that clean, warrants a "show" effect to most. The Silverado was average, and the whole badge with the rim size is beat to death, but eh.

Yep, that SHO is by far the cleanist looking car though IMO. Nice system too, but 139? I can hit that with my CVX 12" off 750rms in a trunk no less.

I am gonna copy and paste this for my buddy to see that SHO. He will shit as he has to be one of the biggest SHO fans out there. He has one himself and has a crazy *** install in it. All fiberglass dash, doors, center console.

Puts some nice numbers up at the track as well.

Yeah I agree. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The vent could have been larger but with three 12s ported I doubt there is a whole lot of room even without the beauty panel.

He probably could have gotten louder with less cone area.

yea the guy has a lot of work left on it, and had a carbon fiber hood order, and of course was late getting here..... I appreciate all the reviews, and I do agree that his system could have been louder, but he wanted something clean looking that was loud, which it was pretty loud, just didnt meter loud.

If you could post some pics of your friends SHO, bc I wasnt that big of a fan until I met this guy yesterday

sounded great...had boston throughout the entire car and it really was nice, and loud. Overall a great sub and with a smooth transitions for all music

He has just changed from SPL(4 M3s off 4 PR1000) to this SQ setup, and is happy with it

that SHO is clean as hell. i would drive one of those in a heart beat... throw a turbo on them and they are pretty **** nasty for a FWD.

Stop it. Turbo SHOs are quick, but the fastest SHOs on the road at the moment are all supercharged. They've all been Vortech V2 S and T trims up until now, but a guy that lives pretty local to me finally fit an ATI on his.

The listed 450whp was on the Procharger with basic supporting mods, on a stock internal 3.2. It's a forged guts 3.3 stroker now, tuned, with a big shot of nitrous. He's probably over 550whp at this point. Funny thing is, of the 6-7 supercharged SHOs, and the 2-3 turbo ones in my area, the fastest is a forged guts 3.2, on a Vortech T-trim, the next is a forged guts 3.2, with an S-Trim, then is the turbo SHO in OK, and then FreakSHO, which is the ATI Procharged one. The turbo is a vaguely discovered realm at this point. BittersweetSHO keeps claiming they're gonna have a kit out soon, but we're still waiting. When I say "we're", that includes me. I own 2 92 SHOs.
