Item(s) for Sale:

A/D/S PQ20 and matching 642CSi preamp crossover

Item(s) Description/Condition:

This equipment is in good condition, especially considering they are just over 22 years old.

All this equipment was purchased new from "The Great Northern Sound Company" of Monmouth Maine on July 28th 1998. The PQ20 was purchased for $1,040, and the crosover was $230. Both items come with original manuals, receipts, mail in waranty cards, the amps internal compnent reference chart, and an A/D/S sleeve for the literature. This equipment was also used in the 1988 "Car Audio Nationals" SQ competition circuit 101w-300w class with a score of 476 (and yes I have the paper work fo that too).

Needless to say you probably will never find this kind of stuff again, especially gear that has only had ONE original owner. These were used (never abused) for a few years in an 85 corvette before being stored away for many more years.

They don't make equipment like this anymore, you know these specs are underrated and the power is cleaner than anything made in the last 10-15 years.

Quick specs:

PQ20

70w x 4 @ 4ohms, 0.05% THD, 105db S/N Ratio.

642CSi

6ch outputs (front, rear, sub)

front/rear HPF 170hz 12db slope

sub LPF 85hz 12db slope

-Comes with DIN/RCA adapter for the outputs.

Also would like to note he qualified in June 1988 with other equipment, then purchased and used the a/d/s gear for sale here for the rest of the season. You can see the PQ20 listed as the amp used in the preliminary scoring (last pic of the first post).

today, local //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

got the alpine 7905 with this all too ($800 on the receipt).... that'll go up tomorrow.

I had the PQ15 six channel with a x-over similar to yours but I think it had some rotary pods and internal jumpers to set the sub out freqs. loved the setup but it lacked power so I traded it for an Earthquake but forgot to include the Din to Din cable from the x-over to amp. I have no use for it so if you want it let me know.
