a couple more questions

alright i now have a car i got a 94 lebaron sedan and it has a stock 90 amp alternator

now i will be having a hk598 for the subs so theres 1600 watts rms goign to the diamond m6s then ill have another 4 channel amp with 100 rms per channel. now could i get buy with the alternator or should i upgrade to 120? thats the only one i can get from advance autos for the car

and im going to probably go with a large sealed box for the m6's with 800rms could i get buy in a large sealed box? the box is going to be bout half the size of the trunk havent measured yet. the m6's that im getting are rated at 800 rms each. any imput if the subs would be safe with a larger sealed box and 800 rms each?

upgrade to a 120 amp? how much would that cost? If it costs a lot I would be inclined to buy a large case gm alt (meant for trucks and 4x4's) that is about the same...120. cheap and easy to come across. any auto parts store would have that.

you can't have the stock alt respun to get more amperage out of it?

the 120 amp is 178 with trade in of my old alt, i aksed if they could redo it and they said no

that's not right at all...120amp is not much of an upgrade. you can buy two regular alts for that amount and have twice the current. PLUS they want your old alt?!? they can't respin an alt?!

shop around and talk to different shops...

look up in the phone book for places in your area that do electric work on diesels...i'm positive most any of those shops can re-spin that alt for you.

regular auto places won't be able to help...try specialists in electric work.
