A couple amateur amp install questions

Pretty sure I know the answers but not 100% sure:

1) if I have a 6 channel amp, will I run into problems if 2 of the 6 channels run at different ohms? What about a 5 channel amp where the 5 th channel is at a different impedance? These may be different since as I understand they tend to be two amps built into one.

2) I will have about a month time lapse between installing my h/u and amp. Is it harmful to hook up the RCA cables to the deck and wire them back to where the amp is going to be ahead of time? I don't want to go through taking apart the trim twice.

1) Just dont go under the minimum impedence on each channel and you will be fine.

2) No problem, just make sure those cables dont touch your power wire when you do run it

tape off the RCA ends in back, so they don't ground out on anything.

Most good amps will let you run diff imp loads on front/rear channels. Amp would more then likely go into protect if it doesn't like it...
