Im in an e320 benz 2002. 120 amp bosch alternator
0 awg wire from back seat battery which is fairly large
I have cadence 3 way components in front cvl3-wk is the model
150 watts rms, 400 peak. these are 3 ohm spkrs
Amp: polk momo 300.2 150 watts rms X 2 at 4 ohm. this amp is pretty beastly
Rear spkrs: two o2 midrange speakers 130hz-15khz 80w rms, 160 max, 8 Ohms. model is om-605nd.
Amp: several options, will discuss later
Sub: Polk mm1040 10" 300 W rms 4 ohm svc 50-200hz
Box: Custom ported enclosure tuned to 37 hz, box is about 1.5 cu ft
Amp: Alpine Vpower mono 300W X 1 rms at 4 Ohm
The rest of the system:
-10 farad rockford fosgate hybrid cap with 3 positive 0/4 awg internal positive distrib block and 3 negative distrib terminals as well. Model: Rockford Fosgate RFC10HB
-audiocontrol eqx II trunk mount concert series. Has adjustable subsonic and lowpass filters which I need to adjust. right now the lowpass is at 70 hz which is definitely too low anyhow need recommendations on how i should set these. I have the resistors necessary just need freq recommendations.
-2 jl 12w0 subs that i plan to build an enclosure for. somehow I would like to split the frequency distribution between the polk sub and the two jl's. I was thinking of building an enclosure that would emphasize lighter/faster bass frequencies say 100-250 hz. the Polk woofer covers the deep bass very well. How should i go about integrating these two woofers into my system? all suggestions welcome
-2 infinity reference speakers 6.5 in 60 w rms, 170 max 2 ohm with dome tweeter. Im not sure if I should leave these out, but the only place for them is in the rear deck. no big loss if that would be best
-Finally I have a california profile amp ap 1040 125 W rms X 4 at 2 Ohm; 90 W rms X 4 at 4 Ohm. Bridged 255 X 2 at 4 Ohm stereo.
So heres where I need help:
1. Infinity's worth it in back? or scrap?
2. If infinity's are scrapped. whats best amp/speakr config. I'm thinking of running the profile amp to each of the o2 rear spkrs and bridging the other channels to rune the subs wired together in series. this would create an 8 ohm load i believe and the two bridged channels would deliver enough power, but not sure exactly how much. its 255 W at 4 ohm so i figure its around 150-180 w rms at 8? idk. either way these subs are 125 w rms each but can easily run on 50-70 w.
3. Main concern is how to wire the capacitor with three amps, plus audiocontrol power, power to a separate relay, and power to two 12V fans. I have a 4 way distribution block that i could add onto the cap. Also i can buy whatever additional connection equipment you would reccomend. I just want to wire all my gear up with as few connections as possible.
4. Final alternative: i sell the 2 12wO's and the infinities, and upgrade to 2 jl 6w3v3's and put them in a custom box.
Any input is appreciated. I definitely need it.
