A biggest meanest amp you know is.....

earthquakes powerhouse phd2 its 2000 rms at 2ohms but it has higher thd. but i guess its a good amp als try zapco or somethin like dei they give out a lot of power too.

bang for the buck...mtx 81000d, i can get one for $375

biggest? i heard of a USAmp that could go as low as .25ohm and somewhere around 4000 wrms. myth? i don't know.

The US Amps SPL-4000X is rated at 4000X1 at 4ohms but it can't be played constantly. Supposedly every extra volt you give it adds 10% to your output. You can't run them very long but they are fun while they are goin.

MTX 8100D - over 1200RMS

USAmps SPL-4000X - 1000x2@4ohm, supposedly 4000RMS bridged - i think its a burp amp, not your daily driver amp

Zapco C2K 9.0XD - over 2000RMS@1-4ohms!!!!

MMATS D3002UHC - dont know if its out yet, but supposedly over 3000RMS

Memphis Mojo - 2400RMS@2ohm

Rockford 1500.1 - Ive seen one with a bithsheet of over 1800RMS

AND....the biggest I know of....is the Harrsion Labs Audio Engine 4800.1 - 4800RMS@1ohm, i think. h and they're gonna produce something even bigger - 2x4800RMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CrAzY!!

The MTX is probably the best value alongside the audiobahn, but Zapco probably is the cleanest.

JT Hlabs already has one bigger but it's aspecial order.. It's called the Drag Queen @ 10,000 watts it's more than I could ever ask for..But the 4800 can be bought to get 4800 into 1,2, or 4 ohms you must specify when you order..for around $1400..

Mike

the drag queen is bigger then you think its 10000@ .5ohm but will run around 20,000@.25 ohm , and no need for anything bigger then a 80amp altenator and 1 battery to run it thats one cool *** amp by the way i believe it cost around $3,000, but someone on here told me it outlawed by comp. leagues

Yeah, I was gonna mention the drag queen, but, although I hae never seen one, personally im a bit dubious of the power claim, especially when its supposed to run off 1 battery and altrnator.

Lets put it this way - if the DragQ was soooooo good, why didnt Natahn Munson use it to get 170dB from his DDBeast, but instead went for DEI 1100Ds???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

OZ audio makes a great High Current amp, here are the SPECS

4 Ohm - 2400 watts RMS (continuous)

Input Voltage - 10V to 16V

Input Sensitivity - 0.25V to 5V

Frequency Response - 20Hz to 120Hz ±1.5dB

Maximum current draw - 260 amps

It is around 2000 dollars but every one is hand built and have 5 year warranty. Also Extremely under rated. You will get more than 2400 watts.

yes it true the drag queen is outlawd in db drag, the power out is acurate, the reson for the ban is that it is a tone generator, and doesnt play music, also it uses an interanl 70 volt battery to hold the 60 second burst of power, then you have to let it charge again, doesnt even require a head unit. if your looking for power wait for the new harrison amp, its a 4800X2 W rms per channel all day long and for a short amount of time you can duble that for comp 9600W rms for a little mroe than 60 second, and remember thats 9600 W per channel thats 19200 W rms but only for a short time, but 9600 all day long (both channels 4800rms) takes more than 333 amps of power so 9600 dubble that 666, and dont forget drops in effincey, if you want to learn about them go to http://www.hlabs.com and http://www.thezeb.com

all i can say is K
