Hey Gang,

Here is my Sub Woffer...

Here is my wiring Set up...

Now I would like some input if anyone be nice to give any.

---I am running the following---

Model T9512X2D

Driver Type Thunder9500

Description Dual 12", 2 x 4-Ohm, Vented Enclosure

Boss D3 Ripper.

Every beat that hits I recieve a huge drop in voltage, hence like any other people/ I installed a 2.5 F Capasator in my vehical.

My question is...If i were to buy another D3 and bridge the connection to get around 3,000 watt running...would I experience a huge driffence in beats?

I would like to make my sub as loud and deep as possable. What should I do? I want the windows to shake off the walls. lol

Are you sure you dont mean pictures?

Anyways I dont think that sub will handle it, and plus you basically have to triple the power to seem louder, I dont think you wouldnt hear THAT much of a difference, why not get another 9500 and get those pictures breakin?

Lol

Step one - remove wire connections from amplifier terminals

Step two - place amplifer in open space

Step three - cover amplifier in flamable liquid

Step four - ignite

Step five - buy a real amplifier

ummm only piece of advice i can think of is to wire 1ohm not 4ohm, but i can guarentee ur amp isnt pussing 1500watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif cry...

if u have the money for a 9500 why not enough cash for a decent amp?

Wire the the sub for a 1ohm load, that will give a boost in power.

As for the voltage drops, have you done the big 3?.

This is the big 3-

Upgrading your under hood wires can make a big difference in electrical system performance (alot more than a cap alone).

To get 1ohm wire the coils in series and turn the amp gain down (below 1/2)

The amp is rated to function at 1ohm but if it does not we will be happy to help you find one that will.

Try these things and report back. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well I do have them money but the problem comes down to SIZE + Wieght.

It a major factor on my car, an 1999 Altima.

The sub and the box alone is already what 80lbs? I have a Boss Amp under my driver seat for the sub and a kenwood amp under the passanger side for the speaker system; JBL's and I installed the copassator under the AC Vents of my car just next to the gas petal. All in all I added what, 130lbs? in equipment to my vehcial. I dont want to strap an amp to the trunk or anywere in that area of the car its heavy enough as it is. And I was unable to find an amp the size of the Boss to fit under my seat......I dont know should I just kill the Boss amp and go with something crazzy/ but then again I have no room and making room is a *****. Then I would have to buy more cables....$2 ft addes up. Soo Im looking at adding another Boss.... or what? Just trying to find out the best solusion. THanks for the help guys. I might consider burning the Boss later in the end lol. WHats the best Amp for this Sub? I want it to shake every god dam thing on the block. hehehhee

I agree,BOSS is very very low end stuff and the SQ is going to be way off par from what it should be

you have a 4ohm DVC , I would seek out a MTX 801D or similar amp and run that sub as a 2ohm final load -

I run a 8500 model with a Memphis 500D and I love it and it only needs 500-600 w

the 9500 will want around 750-800w,but it can and does see more from some peeps

Email MTX,they have excellent support, one of the best I have ever delt with

SQ from one amp to another will not be audible. What you can hear is introduced distortion that some low end amps can't do away with. We've gone over this, people! But nevertheless, that boss amp isn't pushing anything near what you want. It can draw a total of 90 amps according to fuses. Real world scenario, that's a tops of about 900 watts before you blow the fuse.

My sugguestions:

1. Follow stone's advice.

2. Run a bigger wire directly to the amp. If you're running 8 guage or smaller, the difference will be night and day.

3. With this done, you should see a lot less problems with your charging system, which in turn can make a dramatic boost in output.

Guys, really. It is Boss, but 600 to 900 watts should push that sub enough for a wow factor.

Actually the 12 9500 will want 1000+ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

between that or letting that amp fall 8 stories to the ground and then getting a real amp, you'll be alright

dude a decent amp will weight 10-30lbs....thats it....if you're worried about ur speed because ur car is being weighed down then you done need a 69lb (accual weight) on top of the weight for the box. if you take out the boss amp (as NEEDED) that'll free up some weight for the next amp..... with the added weight already in there you're not goingto notice a differance if you take out one amp and put in another (unless you get an oldschool US amps that 5 feet long, however unlikely)....

the advise these guys have given you are true to the truth. upgraded ur electrical system. get a real 1500 watt amp and set your gains correctly and you'll have nose ticklingly great boom
