99 Tacoma RD Audio Rebuild

I was over at Kenny Coleman's shop yesterday helping him out on some installs while he finished up his truck for CES and man this thing is NASTY!!!

Here was his old setup..........................

16-RD Audio Sonance 10's........(.6 cubic feet per sub sealed)

8-RD Audio 3250.1 v1s.............(@.5 ohms @12.6 volts......~26k RMS total system power)

19-Deka group 31 batteries

At World Finals he did a 156.1 in Street Beat 4.........................

Here is what his new build consists of....................

16-Vibe Audio Black Air 10's..........(.6 cubic feet per sub sealed)

1-Vibe Audio Black Air 6 component speakers

1-Vibe Audio Black Air 5 component speakers

4-Vibe Audio Bass 5 amps..............(@1 ohms @14.6 volts..........~5.5k RMS total system power)

1-Vibe Audio Stereo 4 amp

7-Deka group 31 batteries

Ok so here is the crazy part and I will recap this for you real quick.

Subs are a direct drop in from the old setup

Using 1/4 less power than the old setup

Using 1/3 less batteries than the old setup

It does a 160 on music now................
