Lil update.

I got the teklite in and stuck on the doors, i have about 8ft^2 on both doors. I also used up the rest of my EDead, so now I have 30ft^2 on the doors total.

I'll update again after I build the baffles and when my 880prs comes in....

Those cuz most people dont like puttin money into upgrading something on a truck that isnt gonna help anyway. If you wanna lift something get somethin thats worth it like an F-150 or higher or 1500 or higher. Lifted 2 wds are like buildin a 2 cube box for a 6X9

Wish mine was 2wd with gas like it is!

I haven't updated this in ages.... I've had everything installed for months, but now I'm getting kinda bored of this setup, so a new one should be coming fairly soon.

Oh and I finally got metered a couple days ago, I bassraced a 137.xx at the headrest with the windows down playing 'get crunk'. Im not to thrilled with that score so I'm building a new box with 3 4" aeros with one plugged for daily driving to make the tuning 29hz, and with it unplugged it will be at 38hz for comps. My goal is to bassrace around a 139 all sealed up. I'll also be almost doubling the power for the next comp.

Anyways, here's some pics with the box covered, and the rsd's/880prs installed...

well when you bassrace its not done at the headrest or with the windows down

put the meter up on front windshield and close the windows

that wasnt considered a "bassrace", but it gives you a rough idea of where you stand though. with the windows up you'll probably lose about 1-2db.

the box and false floor came out real clean though, i really like it

Bassrace isnt done w/ windows down or at the headrest. Its done all sealed up at the dash.

Yeah I know an official bassrace is all sealed up with the mic on the dash, I meant to use the term 'bassrace' as a referance of what the format was like, it was still a 30 sec avg. on music, the term they used was 'headrest wars' haha. it was just a fun little thing after the actual comp was over. Next time I'll get some official scores for ya guys.

But anyways, thanks for the compliments. Oh and does anyone know what frequency s10's tend to peak at? I didn't get a chance to run a sweep this weekend..

mine seems to do good at 45 and 46hz. thoes were the loudest fq's for the dd2510 i was using. now i have a 3510 so ill see if it changed any.

i only bassrace with "Push that N!gga" (~44hz iirc).

its still going to depend on the install... port/sub placement, wall/no wall, specific subs, etc. but most S10 setups meter best between 45hz and up, probably to low 50hz. but i hate metering that high, defeats the purpose to a daily driver IMO. ~40hz is where its at, or lower

Nice equipment for sure. Build looks like it is coming along nicely as well.

Not sure why people lift their 2wd trucks though.........nor slamm 4wd's. The things that make you go hummmmm.

I've owned/ridden in plenty of 2wd trucks that do really good offroad, its all about the terrain you drive. If you ever drive a capable 2wd truck it will probably change your mind. thanks for the comments though..
