Hmmm, well this isn't really a build log, its just a few pics of what I've done and some of my future plans... So bear with me as this is my first "real" install.

Equipment:

15" SI prototype Mag

AQ1200D

3.5ft^3 @ 34hz

PG RSD6.5

MA HK398 (150x2 @4ohm)

30ft EDead

10ft of Teklite(in the mail)

880PRS(in the mail)

This is my current box....

Some of the cuts were a little bit off because I rushed things a little too much, so I had to go overboard on the screws haha

It still needs to be sanded/carpeted...

My driver side door fully deadened and sealed with 3-4 layers of EDead

Im gonna finish the passenger side tonight, I have to put a couple more layers on. Then tomorrow build some mdf baffles.

looks good. you can play around a little with firing direction also. try it forward. i've found that downfiring sounds best to me, in my s10. forward seemed to work pretty well too. up didn't seem as loud to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

those rods in the box is a bit over kill for 1500wrms. but looks good so far. im likin the bottom bumper removed looks higher and more aggressive

i like the pre runner look of your DIME, always a fan of jacked up 2wd. even though its kinda useless jacken up a 2wd

I built the false floor too, but its not installed right now so I can get to my amps easily. I like the look of my truck, theres not that many lifted 2wd s-10's out there, its 6" in the front and 4" in the back.

Yeah the dowels are kinda overkill, but I figure it cant hurt any...haha

oh and I played around with the direction with my ten, I liked up firing best so far, although I've never tried down firing... I might do that with the sealed box I'm gonna build.

Those cuz most people dont like puttin money into upgrading something on a truck that isnt gonna help anyway. If you wanna lift something get somethin thats worth it like an F-150 or higher or 1500 or higher. Lifted 2 wds are like buildin a 2 cube box for a 6X9

Looks nice, but I would have mounted the sub closer to the wall of the port. Post vids if you can.

I almost did sub forward port up on this box too. maybe ill do it on my next one....
