So basically what your saying is that if you went to a local shop. Which was a authorized Kicker dealer. If you bought their products and got them to do the install... a little bit of time goes by until something fails. But you soon realize they closed down shop. Your telling me the first person you'd blame would be Kicker ? Or does it make it different because RD's company is easier to get a hold of ? Just saying, this sounds like a something that could be taken up legally with the ppl that did it. Obviously their not hard to find since you seen them the other day.

Precisely! You must not know how warranty coverage works. Any shop that's "authorized" means they were noted to instal said equipment properly. Which this shop failed at doing. When something purchased and instaled from them is under warranty and it blows. They simply swap out the blown piece for a working piece of equipment. Infact the shop will sometimes get reimberssed for the loss of an amp or woofer.

I've had dealing with authorized dealers before. I used to blow shit all the time. Take it back and get a free woofer or amp. That's why they are authorized dealers. When I used to run kicker from a shop that quit being dealers of them I called up kicker and got free replacements on anything that blew. Only cost was shipping.

I feel from once you discovered how shitty the last place was Steve should have reimberssed everything equipment cost wise. But I wouldn't be surprised if that imbread was in on it. I say sell the accessory equipment like amps, subs, and speakers. And look into a different company with better REP and service. Not some beat off SJA brand.

I cant control what someone does for installs. There were an authorized dealer and way before all this when i seen how bad his box was we cut ties with them.

There hasnt been anything that i havnt helped johnathan out with. NOTHING

I let him owe me several thousand dollars and still got him more equipment. When he needed install stuff i let him get everything he needed using my account making no money at all.

I have about 15 world champions on Team REVOLUTION they get same pricing as johnathan and when equipment goes down they pay a flat rate to replace it unless there was something defective then i take care of it.

They went to finals and go to shows all year at finals i think they took something like 6-7 championships and have been in the game some of them as much as 15 years. When a d9 breaks they pay 150 to replace the pcb. If a hw breaks they pay 100 to recone. I do what i can do when i can. But i am a small business and with the prices we give them we make tiny to none to sometimes lose on the sale.

Ask johnathan if there is anything he has ever asked of me that i didnt do? How many companies will sell you subwoofers and let you pay them off over four months? and at that not clear 1.00 on them? before that i sent him what ever and let him pay over time. When they had them HWs in the most sh-t box i ever seen i reconed the first ones at no cost because they swore it was the subs not the box. But as all of you have seen the install was horrible and the box even worse.

I dont expect J to make vids and we have no agreement to do that stuff. He does that because he wants to. He grew on me over a period of time so when he came to me and wanted shw's and more stuff i took care of him because i wanted to.

He has no track record or name in the game and i still show him love just like the guys who set countless records. Reason being is he is a cool a-s guy and he grew on me.

I wouldnt care if he set 20 records or never competed i would treat him the same since i consider him a freind.

This is true,he did front me equiptment,although i told him he didn have to that i would just get the stuff when i got the cash he did it anyways.

And i guess your right,i have no track record ,nobody knows me in the caraudio game,as i am new to the internet game of car audio.

Sounds like a cool deal man.....I dont run RD but Steve letting people get stuff before paying is really cool.(not that I would wanna owe somebody that much money) I dont know many or any other companies that would do that especially for some regular guy. Jonathan dont give up man. Its car audio shit goes wrong. To some more than others.I have never or will probably never have near the amount of equipment you have but I already see the amount of time and work it takes with what i do have.

yeah the product is good..just a few things that could be worked on on steves end..but being a one man show..or close to that i can see where he would be strapped for time and shit.Shipping could be faster but as far as the product this is the first time ive ever had an issue with an amp from rd.The woofers in the old box didnt last..because of the box..and i was SLIGHTLY over powering them ..ok waayy over powering them lols.but these 18s hammer.And steve told me since he didnt have the dual 1s or dual .7 in the shws that he would swap them out for what i ordered originally but they will have the new 12.5 or whatever motors on them so it will end up being a win.

believe me this has been a huge learning curve for me,ive never owed anybody before and its weird as hell cause i always pay cash for stuff.but anyways 400$ left the end of this month and everything is paid in FULL.

I though you got team pricing even though your not a compititor. And with team pricing, it doesn't come with normal warranty, mostly because everyone runs them harder than recommended. Much less, than running them at low imp on daily apps, on insufficent electrical.
Not taking sides here, just not as quick too jump on the bandwagon with everyone else. If you honestlly feel it's the owner fault. I say get rid of it all and start over. I got $350 shipped for a working d9. Pm me.
