Sucks that the amp blew.. But, how you don't chalk this up to user error is beyond me. Especially when it's been made public, the abuse that those amps have been through.

Hope you get it gets sorted out though.

He said it on CACO that Steve is not warrantying it and hes going to give him a place to send it too lol

He's not going to warrantyhis amp? Didnt it blow cuz he sent you wrong ohm subs? or somthng? either way your on his team I would think he would repair his teams amps or replace them.. Especially since you are running ALL RD equip..**** that sucks man

Ya that sucks man I think he should warranty that shit I can imagine how much money you spent with him and he wont even warranty his own product kinda messed up but what can ya do eh? .. Cant wait to see vids tho once all the amps are up and running and see what kinda numbers its doing.

i have no idea how the amp blew..hadent even been playin it for over 3 hours when it decided to blow.I was 15 minutes from my hotel in tulsa and i started hearing all kinds of popping and shit going on..great shit..

That's why as a rule-of-thumb, you ALWAYS check your final impedance load on the subs before you ever plug them into the amp. I'm not being apologetic for Steve's actions as I have recieved wrong coil configurations before myself, but you should have checked those coils first.

Wait...raised the load? That means you were running them higher than .5? How did you have the subs wired?
