98 grand am False floor Install

Alright guy's my girl finally found a ride today. It is a 98 grand am needs some work but nothing to major. But here is the plan guy and i was asking for some help with you guy's on here on ca.com because i've actually never done an install on a 98 grand am. and the way i wanna install it here's the plan.

Sub: Rockford fosegate p2 10"

Sub amp: Candence Sqa-1 amp

Wiring: Knukonceptz

Headunit: not chose yet (still looking)

front stage: just some nice coaxials or a nice cheap decent comp set.

Deadner: Second skin

Here are some of my questions guy's regarding the install.

I want to do a all false floor install. how do i got about doing that i understand how to do it for the amp's but how do you do it for the sub? i would greatly apperciate the help guy's thx in advance. also how does the airspace work for the sub? thx in advance guy i want this to be a real clean install , also that way she can still use her trunk for tennis/going to school etc.... ThX again guy's

Never looked inside a grand am before but maybe start by looking at the spare tire well an glassin that for the box

alright man thats what i was thinkn use the tiredwell for the box. it's not that big of a sub so not gonna be insane spl just something nice small 4 her

If you do that you will lose the spare tire for her.

I was thinkn bout that man. cause im not that bad at fiberglassing considering i used to work at a custom shop before they went bank rupt. but only thing is i just don't wanna mess it up because i did more fiberglass for dashes and those type of pieces. not like boxes.

ahh fuk it she dont need to carry a spare ... 85% of girls dont know how to change a tire anyway just keep the spare at your house i am sure she will call you when she gets a flat ..

then you should have no problem glassing a box

i would do it glassed into one of the rear sidepanels, and mount the amp on the other side panel

ripdajacka hmmm.....i like that idea man know of any pics that have that type of setup. im looking around but not finding much. neverenuff it's not just like building a dash. sub boxes with glass your working with alot more dowel's angles . dashe's your doing more sanding to get it's shape and not using alot of dowels sometimes i did but very rarely.

OT a 24 yo male at work waited for 3 hours for his DAD to change his tire.
