idc sealed or ported will buy amp as needed not worried about that thats the easy part this extended chevy 97 what ever works best down fire up fire foward fire any advice would be appereicated only ran systems in cars any tips or suggestions or better box guys for this than ram? im thinkin some sa 8's or some dd 8s what do you guys think? i can build the box just need some guidencee with knoolwge and a plan

The SA8's would be sweet to use. Good reviews i believe. Maybe even some E8's. even the DD 8's would be nice. all your choices are good ones in my opinion. Just need a nice amp and a box built to the subs

While your busy coughing maybe ill recommended some custom made subs.

Op there's a Guy around here that will make you whatever you want. Makes excellent custom subwoofers to your needs. Might be a route to check out, as I hear he is very good and makes beastly stuff.

you may look at the sundown sd-2 8's very good and can fit in tighter space than the sa

Vfl 8. B2 dc lvl 2. 8 sa 8 spl audio Id 8 there are many options really depends on budget and goals you could do 10s or 12s as well
