Ugly car....I wouldn't put any type of system in it. But it's yer car. And as mentioned, take the time to clean up the wiring...it'll look better.

u havent even seen the car and how the aq is ran, its all bolted to the seat i have wires on side, its not going to start fire there is no exposed wires...i have all the pillows in there because i have nothing else to seal off the back of the trunk with the box facing forwards..other wise my trunk is gonna rattle way to much n sound alot worse...i really dont care what anyone thinks of my car, do u really think if i had money that i would be driving a 97 escort..i got the car for 200 4 years ago with not one problem...im pretty sure most anyone would have picked up a car thats great on gas and gets u place to place for 200 and it being over 2000 blue book value

i have a 2 door zx2 that i have had many systems in. my latest is a 5 cube ported box for my ma audio eho154 on a audiopipe gd-6001 wired to .35 ohms for burps and 1.35 for daily. i cut the rear deck a little as well to make my box fit. but u will be happier too if u clean it up. i promise lol

do u have any pics?, id like to see how the box is set up so id have an idea of how to do it id love to put a 5 cube box in, maybe id throw an 18 in there

lol nice vid. i cut the back deck a little where the seats click in to place. then folded the cut metal up, slid the box in sideways and turned it right, then pulled the metal back down and put the plastic peices back on there

ya i basically did it ghetto and took pliers n just bent up the reard deck, but i can still close the seats..im not really to worried on how it looks cuz i close the seats at night..but id just like to put 2 15s in eventually..maybe one 18..im not sure what i would read ona term lab but 149 would be nice to get or 150 fora daily driver in my escort lol..i think my amp should have the power to do it just gotta get the install right for it

i know already u guys are gonna say nice wiring lol, like i said im not to worried on how great it looks. when i geta nicer looking car then i will take my time to hide this..but covered the aero port holes yesterday i was getting about 24 sq inch of port area so i decided to throw a slot on the side and it was actually a little louder and added alittle bracing, so its much cleaner now too...its alittle ghetto but im happy with it for now so thats all i care about

i shoulda realized that when i puta system in it 5 years ago....just because its not hidden under the floor dont mean its gonna start a fire there is no actual exposed metal on the wires..that would be the point of the rubber surround on them
