Ok so you have a decently loud setup...now go back and do it right so you can actually show it to people. When people hear that, they're going to want to see what you have back there, and if I was showing them that system, I would be embarassed. Get some terminals for the box, carpet the box, etc.

Don't talk to me about shit getting stolen, I didn't have shit in my car and I still got broken into.

All I meant was, if he has friends in his car that hear it and want to see it, he should make it show-able. I didn't mean he needs to pull up to a stop light and show everyone sitting there.

thanks but honestly im probably not going to bring it to a bass comp, as for my friends mine is louder then theres except for mazdakids so i dont really care to much how it looks, when i get the new car then yes i will take some time n run all the wires correctly n maybe make the box look alittle better, when install other peoples stuff i make it look nicer but since i have a ford escort im not to worried and most of the time i keep the seats up unless im driving....mazdakid just happened to make a mistake one night and that was the one night his stuff got stolen so it just really sucked

Type R's do get loud so I am not surprised. Not bad for a daily setup. You install is horrible but this is your car. When ever you get a chance take time and run your wires right because you don't want to start a fire.

probably louder then u, and i never said mine was that loud ive def heard louder but i think its pretty loud for a 97 escort at least any ive ever heard...and new amp should come by next week..and new car should be coming soon, ill be sure to post pics of that just for u

has anyone else by chance had the same kinda car n tried to puta system in it? besides the smart ***** on this one, im just lookin for maybe some more ideas on box builds and something not to complicated like a wall...im just looking to get the best sound and be loudest around 32 hz..i now have the aq2200d in there..so im thinking maybe 2 12s or just stick to 1 15

Ugly car....I wouldn't put any type of system in it. But it's yer car. And as mentioned, take the time to clean up the wiring...it'll look better.

i have a 2 door zx2 that i have had many systems in. my latest is a 5 cube ported box for my ma audio eho154 on a audiopipe gd-6001 wired to .35 ohms for burps and 1.35 for daily. i cut the rear deck a little as well to make my box fit. but u will be happier too if u clean it up. i promise lol
