96-99 Audi A4 (B5, 2.8) doors / pillars walkthrough?

I search, I read, I search, I read; I always come up with different sheit.

the12volt's installer database only has wiring diagrams, which are of no use;

audiworld forums are sporadic, unorganized, and conflicting;

bentley manual forums contain no pertinant information;

Any installers / enthusiasts here familiar with what I'm up against, as far as wire routing, rear deck speakers, door speakers, highs?

I promised myself I'd take pictures of the install process, I'm not the only one unsure of how it works.

uhh... take them out first? seriously what do you need to know? How to take your car apart? Look for the screws, get a screwdriver and start unscrewing.

I'm willing to take the console and pillars out, but I'm NOT willing to break a bunch of shit in the process.
