alarm wire is (-) unlock *

ah, was going ask if there was a factory alarm brain to look at.
yeah when the dash is dropped down the factory alarm is right in your face....anywho thanks for the the input im off to bed for the evening. Ig we are slow tomorrow i will get it back in the bay and hopefully get it straight

use that method when ever you need to diode isolate 2 or more wires. ( door pins, alarm wires, etc)

there is no central switch. Going into the door found me only the motor wire i was unable to 5 wire. But new development....the yellow/gray wire in the kick if i cut it and turn the key in either door it will lock that door only but im able to trigger the rest of the doors with the keyless

I'm in the exact same situation as you and have duplicated everything you've mentioned here exactly.

I also found that using the GRY/RED wire for unlock, when cut, will trigger all the doors to lock. When joined together again, nothing happens, when pulsed with ground, all doors unlock. AND, the factory alarm won't arm if the door lock cylinders are manually pushed down, but it will arm if the key is used in any of the doors/hatch.

At any rate, have you found out anything new? I tried to cheese out this morning and use an aftermarket door lock actuator on the driver's door lock to activate, but there's little to no room to add it (and it doesn't trigger the factory alarm) so I'm back at square one.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Just for shits and giggles.... you are trying to pule this wire with all doors, hood, and trunk closed right? Last I remember Volvo's wouldn't lock with a door open... so you could have the right wire...just wont work because its opened up... just a thought...
