'95 Volov 850 Power Lock wire

ok folks im am having the oddest possible issue. Just bought a Volvo 850 wagon for the wife. Picked up a remote start and keyless and got to the install. Everything went smooth as usual but i cannot find the power lock wire. According to directechs the wire is yellow/gray in the drivers kick. No big deal right. WRONG! I have tested every yellow/gray wire in the kick and under the dash. Several wires meter like they are the prodigal wire. The trump though is that instead of pulsing to ground like they should the wires will ground when the doors are locked and rest there. Ordinarily this would seem odd but the unlock wire (gray/red) in the same location does the exact same thing. I spend 45mins on the phone with directechs hoping they would have some insight into this. The only thing they gave me was the motor wire(yellow) in the door harness. Metered it and sure it enough it would pulse to 12v when locked. So i 5 wired this wire and still no power locks. I have had every installer that i work with look at this car to not find anything.

oh and forgot to mention that inorder to unlock/disarm the factory alarm i must pulse the unlock and factory disarm wire simultaneously so my thoughts are that i must figure out someway to pulse both and factory alarm arm and lock wire at the same time as well. Only problem is there is no factory alarm arm wire as it arms with lock

the guy that did my volvo alarm says they are vacuum and you have to put an adapter in??? it was a '94 940T

i though the same at first as well but and tried a long pulse as would be done on older mercedes with vacuum doors but twas not the case. and directechs for that car requires an acuator

eeek volvo. when you five wired, was it through the alarm? or did you use outboard relays?

outboard relays its a valet 562t with no built in relays

yup unlock works just fine

iv check a different year (96) it says the lock (-) yellow/gray is in the drier door harness. have you checked that?

yup there is no yellow/gray in the door harness...tested every wire in the door harness and found the motor wires that ended up not working instead of the power lock and unlock wires

yup unlock works just fine

ok, unhook it, take 2 diodes wire one back up to the unlock, then wire the other to the factory alarm unarm wire. that will take care of that. part
