i gots a 1995 acura integra ls, and its got to where it dont wanna go in gear just grind the clutch pedal feels good, feels normal, but it jus dont wanna go in gear, any one had this problem and diagnosed it, jus wonderin if bleeding would help or a master or slave cylinder, and maybe the throwout bearing, any help would be greatly appreciated

yea thas what i was afraid of, the fluid in the master cylinder is really dark, but i figured ill prolly have to tear it down if i cant find anything in the cylinders wrong and if bleeding dont help

ight i give that a try cause stupidly ive had to replace the drivers side axle twice and the passenger side once and i havent put any oil back in the ****** reckon that could be the problem

ight i keep it updated its odd to me because the cluch pedal feels fine ya know like it always has catches the same place and eveything but its getting so bad that ya have to crank it up in gear, to take off, and when stopping at a stop sign or something it doesnt wanna release and usually kills the motor

now the second part of what you said is a clutch problem. if you press the clutch when coming to a stop and the motor dies, then the clutch itself is not releasing. you may have a leak in the hydrolic line or at the slave cylinder...check the fluid level at the master cyl.

yea thas what i was figuring it may b in the master or slave cylinders, cuz the clutch doesnt slip a beat, it just dont release, sorry bad wording

well the first part about not being able to get it into gear and grinding is usually a synchro issue because the shafts inside the ****** can not get up, or in this case down, to speed. however the fact that you can not stop without the engine dying means the clutch never releases.

edit: and I also made a generalization because of the car:crap:
